In this article we are not going to talk about Italian grammar or culture… we are going to talk about something really important, the tragic situation that’s afflicting our country and elsewhere: the spreading of the virus COVID-19.
CONVID-19: an enemy we must defeat together!
We want to make an appeal to all friends who follow us and all those who love Italian culture and language: please HELP US! As you know in the latest weeks Italy has been particularly stricken by the virus known as COVID-19 and, despite all the efforts made by nurses, doctors and volunteers the number of people needing medical treatments far exceeds the capacity of our healthcare system. In particular, there’s a shortage of beds in the intensive care unit.
What you can do to help Italy
Italian Civil Protection is taking care of coordinating and managing this medical emergency and has recently opened an account to which you can make donations if you want to help in the battle against this treacherous enemy. With a little financial contribution to the Italian Civil Protection, you can save thousands of people!
