The theme of this lesson is infinitive… what is infinitive? 1) A poem from Giacomo Leopardi, which reads “Sempre caro mi fu quest’ermo colle, e questa siepe, che da tanta parte dell’ultimo orizzonte il guardo esclude…”. 2) The immense, inexhaustible, immesurable, unreachable, a question to which philosofers, thinkers and scientists have been trying to give an answer for centuries.
